garlic magic potion for my niece and all the children
Garlic remedy & recipes
Garlic: It’s not just for vampires anymore!
Well, I have no personal experience with garlic being effective on vampires, but I did see it once in a movie. However, I do have A LOT of experience with garlic warding off illness.
“No other herb comes close to the multiple system actions of garlic, its antibiotic activity, and its immune-potentiating power.” - Stephen Buhner in Herbal Antibiotics. |
Not only is it antibiotic, it is also directly effective against viruses. It is also anti-fungal and anti-parasitic as well among many other things. It's important for colds AND flus.
How do I use garlic?
Well, the most obvious garlic remedy is to cook with it. I give ideas about using garlic in the immune soup recipe as well as in my special-tea. Eating garlic regularly is extremely healthful. It also helps lower blood pressure and cholesterol counts. It’s absolutely amazing.
It’s most potent to use garlic raw. Cooking with it regularly is good for your health, but when you need it in an acute situation, use it raw.
Juicing it and adding it to other juice is a great way to take raw.
There are many good raw garlic recipes that are garlic remedies, such as humous. This is a traditional middle eastern dish/spread. You can find it at supermarkets or you can make your own.
These recipes are a great example of "eating your medicine." Eating healthful meals with antiviral and antibiotic properties built into them is optimal. However, if you are already sick, then cooking garlic into your soup is one of your best options.
What about the odor?
If the odor is an issue or you aren’t quite ready to integrate garlic into your diet more, you could try garlic tablets. Understand that tablets are never going to be as good as the real thing, but they do work.
A naturopathic doctor I know recommends this brand. They are odorless, and are well known as one of if not the best garlic tablets out there. The store I send you to on this link sell at wholesale prices. Believe me, you won’t find them cheaper ANYWHERE else. The price here matches the wholesale price in my local natural foods wholesale catalog. I researched it so you don’t have to.
Garlic remedy on my feet?!?!?
Two ways I use garlic when I’m sick (other than teas and soups)
- Garlic vinegar. I infuse garlic in vinegar, and it’s a great way to get the raw qualities of garlic. I eat the vinegar straight when I’m ill. But day-to-day, I use it in salad dressings or recipes that call for vinegar.
- Garlic on my feet. Yes, you read right. Here’s what I do: I crush a few garlic cloves, put them in a little jar or bowl, and cover it just so in olive oil.
In about a half hour, I rub the oil on my feet. I do this on my kids as well when they have a bad cough or they have a chest cold. For me, I also put the garlic pieces between my toes (but not for kids).
Then, I put socks on for the night and go to sleep. When I wake up, I have garlic breath, so I know it works! No kidding! Garlic enters your system and heads straight for the lungs.Garlic is amazing for the lungs. This is a great way to fight bacterial infections. It also enhances your immune system and fights viruses at the same time! I love this garlic remedy."God Bless The Children Because We Love Them"yogi tousa

kundalini affair
Traditionally all yoga systems were considered to be a preparation for the inner evolution and outer transformation for which Kundalini, is invariably a catalyst. In the context of life as we know it, in which true change is very rare, Kundalini Yogaworks amazingly quickly. Kundalini Yoga is not about mastering difficult-looking exercises. It's very user-friendly. Essentially, if you can breathe you can do it! Modifications are given for each exercise so everyone can always participate. Whether you're in shape, out of shape, or wavering between the two, Kundalini Yoga will definitely work for you! Kundalini Yoga blends breathing, movement, stretching, meditation, chanting and the science of sequence. The poet Dylan Thomas' phrase, “the force that through the green fuse drives the flower,” is the perfect definition for Kundalini. It's Life aspiring, the creative motivating force within us. Kundalini empowers us to shine, prosper, and excel in all things. It's the common denominator for all forms of self-healing, inspiration, and transformation. A typical Kundalini Yoga class normally starts with a breathing exercise. Then we do some spinal warm-ups and stretching followed by a special set called a Kriya. A Kriya is a poetic progression of exercises which work in concert to create a synergistic, multi-dimensional, exponential effect. One Kriya might focus on the de-toxing the liver, or working through creative blocks, mastering your moods, or possibly developing will-power. After doing a set we relax on our backs for a few minutes. Then we end class with some form of meditation. Whatever the focus, by the end of every class you will feel energized and relaxed, focused and expansive, all at the same time. |

stop backbiting my pizza
One of the main ingredients of pizza is the tomato, which contains lycopene, a powerful antioxidant. Lycopene is known to help fight many different types of cancer. Studies have shown that people who eat pizza at least once a week were much less likely to develop colon and mouth cancer as well as stomach and lung cancer. It is known to be especially helpful in fighting prostate cancer. Studies have shown that eating pizza can lower your chance of developing esophageal cancer by nearly 59%.
It is the tomato that is the main cancer-fighting ingredient of pizza. Incredibly, studies have also shown that processed tomatoes such as those found in pizza or spaghetti sauce are actually higher in lycopene than fresh tomatoes. The reason for this is that during the process of cooking and processing the tomatoes, the water content evaporates leaving a higher concentration of the antioxidant.
Tomato sauce is extremely healthy, and for this reason so is pizza, but there are additional pizza toppings that can also enhance your health. Onions are rich in chromium, vitamin C, and fiber. They help to lower your blood sugar, cholesterol as well as blood pressure. Black olives are another great addition to pizza. Olives contain ingredients that help ward off heart disease and lower your cholesterol. The red pepper is a great pizza topping. They are sweet and tasty as well as full of Vitamin C, A, and B6.
Another health benefit of pizza is the dough. In actuality, pizza dough is another ingredient of pizza that is high in antioxidants, and through certain baking techniques the antioxidants in the dough can actually be increased.
Adding even more health benefits to pizza is simple. A vegetable pizza with just a little cheese is a very healthy food. You get the great taste and health benefits of pizza without all the extra fat and cholesterol normally associated with meats and cheese. If you are a meat fanatic and just can't handle your pizza without meat, you can always add some grilled chicken to your vegetable pizza. Chicken offers many health benefits that other meats don't, and it tastes great.
With the many health benefits of pizza, it can no longer be viewed in the same light as other fast foods."
thank you very much
to all of you who have looked down on pizza
or spoke badly about her, now you can stop
it is official pizza is good!

ButteR me Up
The 20 Health Benefits of Real Butter
By Donna Gates for BodyEcology.com
Are you worried about your health? Contrary to popular belief, completely eliminating butter from your diet may be BAD for your health! Learn all the benefits of eating butter here!
The origins of butter go back thousands of years to when our ancestors first started domesticating animals. In fact, the first written reference to butter was found on a 4500- year old limestone tablet illustrating how butter was made.1
In India, ghee (clarified butter) has been used as a staple food, and as a symbol of purity, worthy of offering to the gods in religious ceremonies for more than 3000 years.2
The Bible has references to butter as the product of milk from the cow, and of Abraham setting butter and milk from a calf before three angels who appeared to him on the plains of Mamre.3
For millennia, people around the globe have prized butter for its health benefits.
So how did butter become a villain in the quest for good health?
At the turn of our century, heart disease in America was rare. By 1960, it was our number one killer. Yet during the same time period, butter consumption had decreased - from eighteen pounds per person per year, to four.4
A researcher named Ancel Keys was the first to propose that saturated fat and cholesterol in the diet were to blame for coronary heart disease (CAD).
Numerous subsequent studies costing hundreds of millions of dollars, have failed to conclusively back up this claim.5
Yet the notion that a healthy diet is one with minimal fat, particularly saturated fat, has persisted. While Americans drastically reduced their intake of natural animal fats like butter and meat, the processed food industry, particularly the low-fat food industry, proliferated.
When the baby boomers were children, concerned mothers began to replace butter with margarine. The margarine manufacturers told them it was the healthier alternative and mothers believed them. In those days no one asked, "where is the science to prove it? I want to know before I give this man-made, plastized stuff to my children. After all we humans have been eating butter for thousands of years?".
As a result, since the early 1970's, Americans' average saturated fat intake has dropped considerably, while rates of obesity, diabetes, and consequently, heart disease, have surged.
Reducing healthy sources of dietary fat has contributed to a serious decline in our well-being, and those of us that speak out against the anti-fat establishment are still largely ignored .
Is Margarine Better than Butter?
No! This is a tragic myth. Butter is a completely natural food essential to your health - especially when you eat organic. Also, please make the extra effort to obtain high-quality organic, raw butter.
Margarines, on the other hand, are a processed food, created chemically from refined polyunsaturated oils. The process used to make these normally liquid oils into spread-able form is called hydrogenation.
Margarine and similar hydrogenated or processed polyunsaturated oils are potentially more detrimental to your health than any saturated fat.7 For more information on why you should avoid all processed oils read Why the Processing of Consumable Oils Has Devastated America's Health.
Include Real Butter as part of Your Body Ecology Lifestyle
As many of you already know, I am a strong proponent of including a variety of healthy oils and fats into your diet. Together they work as a team to supply your body with essential fatty acids for longevity, hormone balance, heart health, sharp vision, glowing moist skin and energy. The wonderful variety of oils and fats certainly includes organic, preferably raw butter. Cultured raw butter is even better.
And why would I be so insistent that you eat butter? Take a look at the long list of the benefits you receive when you include it in your diet:8
Butter is rich in the most easily absorbable form of Vitamin A necessary for thyroid and adrenal health.
Contains lauric acid, important in treating fungal infections and candida.
Contains lecithin, essential for cholesterol metabolism.
Contains anti-oxidants that protect against free radical damage.
Has anti-oxidants that protect against weakening arteries.
Is a great source of Vitamins E and K.
Is a very rich source of the vital mineral selenium.
Saturated fats in butter have strong anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties.
Butter contains conjugated linoleic acid, which is a potent anti-cancer agent, muscle builder, and immunity booster
Vitamin D found in butter is essential to absorption of calcium.
Protects against tooth decay.
Is your only source of an anti-stiffness factor, which protects against calcification of the joints.
Anti-stiffness factor in butter also prevents hardening of the arteries, cataracts, and calcification of the pineal gland.
Is a source of Activator X, which helps your body absorb minerals.
Is a source of iodine in highly absorbable form.
May promote fertility in women.9
Is a source of quick energy, and is not stored in our bodies adipose tissue.
Cholesterol found in butterfat is essential to children's brain and nervous system development.
Contains Arachidonic Acid (AA) which plays a role in brain function and is a vital component of cell membranes.
Protects against gastrointestinal infections in the very young or the elderly.
Raw, Organic Butter is the Best
Believe me this is only a partial list. If a woman is pregnant, hopes to become pregnant or is nursing her baby, I think it should even become a law for her to eat butter for her baby's developing brain, bones and teeth.
The best butter you can eat is raw, organic butter because pasteurization destroys nutrients. Unfortunately, the sale of raw butter is prohibited in most of our 50 states.
Are you finding it difficult to get organic, raw butter? Don't worry! Making your own delicious cultured butter with Body Ecology Culture Starter is an easy way to get on the right track towards health
You can, however, make your own healthy butter, and it is easier than you think. Look into our Body Ecology Culture Starter, which you simply add to organic cream. After letting this mixture sit at room temperature for 24 hours, chill it, beat it with a whisk, and voila! You'll have healthy, probiotic butter that is delicious!
Cultured butter is full of health sustaining good bacteria like lactobacillus planterum, and lactococcus lactis. These microflora are essential for a healthy inner ecosystem.
Sources of Healthy Butter
If you don't want to culture your own butter, I recommend butter from grass-fed animals only. A good source is U.S. Wellness Meats.
I also recommend Activator X and Vitamin rich butter oil, made by Green Pastures.
Heart Healthy-the Body Ecology Way
Completely eliminating butter and other healthy animal source fats is NOT the Body Ecology way. It is not how our ancestors thrived, and not what nature intended.
How much should you eat each day? Like sea salt, your own body will tell you how much to eat. If you crave it, eat it, your body needs it. If the quality is excellent you can feel confident it will be good for you and you'll soon see the benefits yourself. If you are following the Body Ecology Food Combining Principle and eating as we recommend (adding at least one source of fermented food or drink to your diet) you will see your body reach its idea weight. The raw butter will help you develop beautiful muscles.
The Body Ecology program is gaining recognition for being a premier way of healing candida and other immune dysfunctions. And what's more, it's a heart-healthy, super-slimming, anti-aging way of life, which is crucial to your health as a whole.

the art of laughter
humane laughter is different than mean laughter
to laugh one must laugh with a friend or alone but not to create paranoia
the laughing person must explain what it is that makes him laugh in the crowd at least to those who look for answers
i love laughing it is my favorite part of life
every one enjoys a good laugh
but not everyone enjoys a laugh at them
everyone loves a laugh with them
everyone likes a good laugh but sometimes laughing can hurt it can even make others cry
when i laugh, i do it when it does not hurt anyone especially my friends
when i laugh i make sure it is not a sensitive issue
when i laugh i make sure the people i am with understands what i am laughing at especially my friends
when i laugh i do not mock things that people have no fault in having but i laugh at the behavior of humans with my friends or alone in my head
i sometimes hold it until i go home and then i replay it and laugh again
laughter is the best medicine it equals times of workouts and is better than hitting the gym
it feels way better than crying or just sitting frowning
i love to laugh at my self but wait before you laugh at me make sure i am laughing too
make sure your friend that you are laughing at does not have sadness in his eyes
make sure your laughing does not cause anyone's pain
what is the point of selfish laughing?
i hate it the most when the only person who enjoys a joke is the one who said it and he makes everyone else uncomfortable
i am a big fan of laughing but i know that it is an art and it is important to know when to do it, with who and what about, who knows who might be hurting from a mysterious laugh
the egyptians have said it "laugher without reason is rude"
sometimes we cant help it but laugh but we have to make sure that we do not laugh at people who we care about especially if they are not laughing too.
