someone dies
someone else is born
someone leaves
someone else comes back
out of the funeral how could they head to the bar?
doesn't seeing death remind us of the importance of self restraint?
some people do not see it this way
lets celebrate life they say
i say i am nothing to say anything but don't you think of the meeting when someone else has passed?
right and wrong start to be washed out in the crowd
the pure heart will dance on the day they leave this world with all it's misery
when i was younger i thought i will live forever
that all the people i know are somehow protected
that death happens far far away
and that school days are the toughest times
now i know i was a fool
thinking the final exam was the toughest thing of all
thinking the uniform was a prison
now i know this world is the prison
this earth will not be there forever
and the news does not help
seeing it all happen at once like a collage with no end
he dies
he lives
he is born
she wins
they lose
they tie the knot
they live abroad
they come back
they are nice to us
now they judge us
change is the nature of this world
adapting is the most precious talent
and smiling in the funeral is the best you can do to help the family of the lost beloved
be careful not to hurt a heart
not to stare so much
not to ask too many questions
live lightly
don't stomp on the earth
i told my self last night
this morning when the sun came out things started to seem more serene less surreal
and i knew there is not much i can do when people leave the world behind
lets leave the world while we are here
lets live like feathers in the wind
lets not twist fate
lets take the ride and lets try not to take things personally
said my angel
although its hard i said i will try
